Jason Momoa brings Conan the Barbarian to the big screen again in 2011 following in the footsteps of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1982 original movie.
Original costumes and props from Conan the Barbarian on display
To publicise the new movie, ArcLight Hollywood cinema had this fantastic exhibit of original costumes, worn by the fantasy heroes and villains in the movie remake, photographed on display on August 12, 2011 and installed by Olson Visual.

The costume exhibit included this outfit with chainmail sleeve worn by Jason Momoa as Conan. It felt quite heavy, but I'm sure that's no problem for someone with his muscles. Also on display was Conan's broadsword, which he uses to exact revenge on the people who killed his father and destroyed his village.

Rachel Nichols plays 'Tamara' a novitiate at a monastery trained to be the Queen's servant, bodyguard and best friend. She's Conan's love interest in the movie and this is one of her costumes from the movie, which wouldn't look that out of place in a Pirates of the Caribbean film.

Be sure to come back to see more detail of the costumes worn by Stephen Lang as the ruthless warlord, 'Khalar Zym', and Rose McGowan as his daughter and powerful witch, 'Marique'.
