In The King's Speech, Colin Firth plays the second in line to the British throne, 'Albert Frederick Arthur George' (until he was crowned 'King George VI' in 1936), who has a terrible stammer and difficulty with public speaking, whilst Helena Bonham Carter plays his wife, the future 'Queen Elizabeth'.

and Helena Bonham Carter in The King's Speech
These original costumes featured in the movie were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on December 9, 2010.
Colin Firth wears this outfit several times throughout the movie, whilst the costume with fur wrap worn by Helena Bonham Carter was specifically for the party at Balmoral Castle in Scotland thrown by the King Edward VIII (Albert's brother who abdicated to marry Mrs. Wallis Simpson).
