Miss Piggy's Couture Collection from The Muppets on display at the El Capitan Theatre...

Miss Piggy and her fellow Jim Henson felt creations, The Muppets, returned in style to cinemas in a big way in 2011. To mark the release of the movie, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood had an exclusive collection of the porcine muppet's fashionable costumes on display for cinema goers and fans to see.

Rahel Afiley was responsible for Costume Design on the movie and you can also see original costumes worn by Amy Adams and Jason Segel for The Muppets on display here at Hollywood Movie Costumes and Props.

This fabulous fuchsia dress and ostrich feather boa was worn by Miss Piggy for her singing duet with Amy Adams called 'Me Party'.

Miss Piggy sports this Va-va-voom outfit of leather and spandex when she helps the other Muppets kidnap Jack Black and shows off her kung fu skills.

The iconic starlet wore this lavender gown for the grand finale of the movie along Hollywood Boulevard, accompanied by an ostrich feather boa and sparkling Zac Posen designed shoes.

In the first week of the New Year I finally made it to the El Capitan in Hollywood for a trip down memory lane to watch Disney's The Muppets movie.

In addition to the nostalgia, a sing-along with Kermit and Miss Piggy themselves before the film and a fabulous collection of Miss Piggy's couture featured in the movie on display (more on those at a later date), the El Capitan had recreated two of the sets from The Muppets, Miss Piggy's Dressing Room and Kermit the Frog's Office.

You've really got to hand it to the Disney theatre, they certainly love to give you value for money and a fantastic movie going experience.
